History

The Greek Goddess of Marriage and Women, Hera is the wife and older sister of Zeus. She is the mother of many Greek gods and goddesses, but she and Zeus were always in war because every now and then, Zeus would disguise himself as a human, and have kids with mortal women. Hera has mentioned that for the most part, she only acts out of her love for Zeus, or because he betrayed her love. As evidenced when she caused the floating islands of Themyscira to collapse into the sea after finding Zeus spying on one of the island's resident Amazons, Hera can be incredibly vengeful when angered.
