In 2011 a Wonder Woman pilot was produced for NBC starring Adrianne Palicki as Wonder Woman.

In October 2010, Warner Bros. Television announced that writer-producer David E. Kelley was hired to write a new Wonder Woman television series, with the intention of pitching it to the major networks.^[1] The major networks all turned down the series, but NBC, the final network to initially pass on the project, announced that they had ordered a pilot on January 21, 2011. The plot is described as "a reinvention of the iconic D.C. comic in which Wonder Woman -- aka Diana Prince -- is a vigilante crime fighter in L.A. but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life."^[2] On February 16, 2011, it was announced that Adrianne Palicki was selected to play the title role.^[3] Elizabeth Hurley will guest star in the pilot as the villain, Veronica Cale, potentially recurring, and Tracie Thoms will be a series regular as Diana's personal assistant, Etta Candy.^[4] Pedro Pascal was cast as Inspector Ed Indelicato and Cary Elwes will portray Henry Johns who runs the day-to-day operations of Diana's company.^[5]^[6] Jeffrey Reiner will direct the pilot.^[7] Several weeks later, Justin Bruening was announced as the actor cast to portray Steve Trevor, a veteran who now works in the Justice Department and Wonder Woman's former love interest.^[8]

Wonder Woman – (Adrianne Palicki) Female, late 20s to 30s. A kick-ass Superhero / Powerful C.E.O. / A vulnerable woman. Long flowing black hair, blue eyes. Amazon-like, muscular, an Olympian. The charismatic stage presence of a rock star. A crime fighter. Also, a real woman who yearns to live a normal life. She is accessible and appealing to all people, men and women alike.

Veronica Cale – (Elizabeth Hurley) A powerful bi-sexual CEO of a pharmaceutical company who experiments her products on an unknowing public with drastically fatal results.

Steve Trevor – (Justin Bruening) Male, Caucasian, 30s, 6ft or taller. A leading man Diana can't look past. Good looking but a real man. An Army vet, he now works in the Justice dept.

CEO Henry Johns – (Cary Elwes) Male, mid 30s to early 40s. A younger Michael Douglas type. Acting CEO of Themyscira Industries, he’s married to his job. Grounded, intelligent and deeply devoted to Diana. He runs the day to day operations of the company and acts like an Uncle to Diana although he could be a possible love interest down the line.

Etta Candy – (Tracie Thoms) Female, late 20s to early 30s. Diana Themyscira's protector, a Gate-keeper and her personal assistant. Strong, earthy and real, she is blindly devoted to Diana. She's her unrelenting cheerleader, with unwavering, unabated support.

Inspector Ed Indelicato – (Pedro Pascal) Male, early to mid 30s. Stoic and tough, he is a liaison to the police department. Attractive, devoted and loyal to Diana, he's blue collar, a no nonsense kind of guy. A chiseled man who subscribes to the old fashion rules of relationships – men don't talk much. His job comes first and he wouldn't make room for the possibility that there is potential romantic relationship with Diana.

William Marston – (Brett Tucker?) Male, late 20s, early 30s. A man who's really trying to be charming, William is a single guy, a lawyer, who's desperate to make a good impression on a first date. But he puts his foot in his mouth time after time and get can't his game on track. He’s a kind guy, but not edgy, still the audience should root for him.

Judy Lee - Female, 20s. Lead member of the "Evidence Team" at Themyscira Industries. A geeky wizard in her own right.

Billy - Male, 20s. Member of the "Evidence Team" at Themyscira Industries. An intellectual. Clean cut, Ivy League educated.

Ryan Miller - Male, 30ish, Ryan is a control room technician, expert at scanning satellite imagery for long tedious hours.

TI Employee - (Gina Ninci) Works for Wonder Woman at Themyscira Industries.

Myndi Mayer - Female, late 20s to early 30s. Publicist, Press Secretary and Wonder Woman's confidant and nurturing best friend. Worldy and edgy. Sexy and persuasive, her appearance is part of her strength. She is beautiful and put together - dressed expensively in the latest fashions, plus she's got a bit of bite, clever wit and sass. She's the prodder of Diana's social life.

Willis Parks - (B.J. Britt) Male, 18 year-old African-American high school senior. A well-built football player from a poor part of town, Willis is a gifted young athlete whose efforts to improve himself (and his family) have all paid off. Then all he has built is cruelly torn down in an instant.

Janine Parks - Female, late 30s, early 40s. African-American, a single mother of four, Janine lives in a run-down neighborhood, and is delighted when her harried, beleaguered family catches a break. Later, devastated by an unexpected loss, Janine wants justice -- to be honest, she wants revenge. She is a mother who has recently lost her child. She must be able to experience that loss. We should want vengeance for her.

Teresa Parks – (Jordyn Barber) Female. African-American. A member of a close family, she reacts in delight to good news that quickly turns sour. Sympathetic.

Winslow Parks - Male, 9 years old, African-American. A member of a close family, he reacts in delight to good news that quickly turns sour. Sympathetic.

Anna Parks - (Ariyana Morris) Female, 12 years old, African-American. A member of a close family, she reacts in delight to good news that quickly turns sour. Sympathetic.

John O’Quinn – (Joseph Gatt) Male, 20s to 30s. Built like an Adonis, he runs like a cheetah, and soon learns that "you can run but you can't hide".

McRaven – (Geoff Meed) Male, 30s to 40s. A fitness trainer, a rare physical specimen, he initially appears to be yet another gym rat with a gig, but in fact he's an important part of a criminal enterprise.

Fred – (James Ellias) Male, 30ish, a big guy, somewhat good-looking but thuggish, Fred is full of himself, a jerk with a bullying, misogynistic streak mixed with a dash of road rage.

Officer Elias Jones – (Andre Brooks) Male, 30s, This courteous, respectful police officer knows the law and won't bend an inch from the straight and narrow.

Officer Terry Moss - (Jared Asato) Male, this police officer stands guard outside a hospital room, and he too follows his orders right down the line.

Swat Commander - Male, this SWAT commander barks rapid-fire to his team as they perform a lightning raid.

Attorney Greg Kogen - (Michael Rose) Male, 50s. A high powered attorney, Glickman represents a headstrong client, a CEO of a powerful corporation, and he tries to help fend off an attack by a powerful, implacable enemy -- but his advice often falls on deaf ears.

Warren Heilbronner - Male, 40s, another attorney, Warren gives counsel in a fast-paced, rapid-fire monotone, and expects his client to instantly absorb his battery of legalistic instructions but also because he knows they’ll tune out if he doesn’t speak fast.

Judge Cyrus Badger - Male, 50s to early 60s. A chain-smoking old magistrate. Gruff and head strong, he denies Inspector Ed Indelicato a warrant.

Dr. Timothy Keel - Male, 40s. Monitors subjects as they work out in training facility.

Dr. Neil Nevis - Male, 40s. Barks at orderlies loading medical equipment into a truck.

Dr. Carl Dyerson - Male, 40s. Fights with Veronica about where to place the subjects.

Alton Barnes - Male, 40s. Drones on and on during a meeting about Wonder Woman merchandising.

Soldiers - (Andrew Blood, Kali Muscle) Males, late 20s to 30s.Buff and mean super soldiers in an illegal army.

Male Marilyn Monroe Impersonator – (William Belli) Male lookalike performer with a deep voice dressed in Marilyn Monroe drag on Hollywood Blvd.

Fake Wonder Woman – (Kelly Galindo) Female, a lookalike performer on Hollywood Blvd., she is costumed as Wonder Woman -- but she's in her 50s.

Fake Darth Vader – (Chuck Hosack) Male lookalike performer on Hollywood Blvd. costumed as Darth Vader from Star Wars.

Brooklyn Woman – (Cathy Fithlan) Female, a Brooklyn woman in her 50s, she's an excitable tourist on Hollywood Blvd., who is overjoyed by a celebrity sighting.

Artemis - Female, Late 20s. Seen in flashback, she is very attractive, an Amazon.

Reporter Sharon Bliss - Female, a news reporter in her 30s, she covers a breaking story from a helicopter.

Jenna Hue – (Jeannine Cota) Female, she is a television reporter, covering a breaking story live, from a place on the street.

Dennis - This on-air news anchor tries to give a wry spin to a story, but comes across as just a guy babbling to fill air time.

Julie - Another on-air news anchor, she too tries to give a wry spin to a story, but comes across as just a woman babbling to fill air time.

Anchor #1 - This television news anchor explains an instant replay to the folks at home.

Anchor #2 - Male, another TV news anchor, named Rob, he details the latest twist in a complex breaking story.

Reporter - This TV news reporter also covers a breaking story.
